Option 2: Jelebu Banana ISR Plot (Negeri Sembilan)
Jelebu Banana ISR plot was a up-scaling project testing the efficacy of ISR products (ISR seedlings and systemic resistance inducing inoculant, the Gladiator 1.0) against blood disease (bacterial wilt) infection of banana. The selected plot was previously was cultivated with banana and was totally destructed by blood disease. Soil samples were tested from the site shown that the blood disease pathogen exists. Both the ISR and non-ISR (control) were prepared and cultivated in the plot. The growth performance, and disease severity were monitored through out the crop season. The yield production and post-harvest quality also recorded. The plot also used as demonstration plot for banana ISR technology.
